I get a feeling of anxiety when I perceive I HAVE TO do something; when I have no options. My vision tunnels and my chest constricts then fire starts coming out of my ears. (Two truths and a lie…you choose which.) This happens when the baby is crying and the toddler is dumping out smoothie on my white apartment carpet at the same time. (Again, why?!?) This happens when I have to use the restroom, … Read More
I’m afraid I’ve been thinking. A dangerous past-time. (Shout out to Lefou and Gaston. And Belle. Because feminism.)
Yep. Been thinking about feminism. Been thinking about how there’s something really awesome about being taken care of, being paid for, being loved. And sometimes feminism neglects that. I actually think it’s a real problem, this woman-can-so-she-must mentality. Stereotypically, we get thinking that we can do stuff and so we should do stuff… you know, like make the fancy … Read More

Actually I have done maybe one thing besides the afore mentioned activities: I’ve really liked going over to Cahoots Fitness to work … Read More
Our family calls Costco the “$200 Store”. Can’t get outta there without spending 200 dollars, amiright?!? Costco is the best/worst place on earth. How I love Costco, and how I get minorly sick when I reconcile my finances…. but then I go eat one of my 6 delicious avocados and feel great about my hundred million paper towels. And Chase looooves his jeans from Costco. And the flowers… so good.
The question still remains: how do you partake of Costco … Read More
Ever have those days when you’re tired? That’s an easy question. I suppose we’re all mostly tired. I had an especially tired day recently. One of those where I wondered how I was ever going to get my kitchen clean and then wondered why I even try. One of those where I kept hurting myself by banging my head into cabinets on accident and tripping up the stairs. One of those where all of my lofty life goals ran through … Read More
